the future for my Galactic Jetta

I got a lot of ideas at H2O, and consequently have a LOT of work to do.

The theme I'm going for: beat you black and blue

Exterior plans:

1. Fix the front VW emblem for permanent black, no rock chips
2. Fixed the joey mod AGAIN yesterday, I think the lenses may be salvageable, for now. Later, new ones, either cheapo ebay's which I pull the lenses off or just regular smoked.
3. Smoked side markers, this is a no brainer
4. Window tint, dark, but easily legal
5. Debadge the "Jetta" on the rear, and buy new 1.8T emblem, and have it powdercoated or painted (if they're plastic or metal it depends)
6. Driver's door keyhole filler
7. Far, far, far in the future, since it will cost a small fortune, a respray
8. This is by far the most controversial exterior mod from talking with the crew: 18" mesh style wheels, moderate lip, and here is the kicker

Powdercoat the mesh part to body match color.
This is either:kissy: or :puking: depending on the person

9. I'm gonna try to score an OEM Galactic blue front bumper from somebody with a body kit to try out my hand at some custom work.

That's okay. That's what I expected.

I'm gonna try to Photoshop it at school one day.

It's just that everyone and his daddy has black mesh wheels or the gold mesh wheels.

Unless there's a ton of dish to the wheels it will look very, very bad.

You could always get some of those chrome stickers that read 18" above the wheel arches to show off how much of a baller you are though. ;)

Ummm, I just did a crappy Pchop on campus, and...........

I think I do agree. Oh well. I'm still trying to figure out something if anything unique to do to a MkIV Jetta. There's just so many done so well it is difficult to stand out, in a good way that is.

when i got those dtm kreuz, i wanted to do body colored center and a black lip... just to be different (i thought it would probably look hot.. i'm not big on the black center/polished lip)
