diamond racing wheels bend there meant for the track not dialy driving. Thats why there so cheap.:(
No one does is locally or I'd have a set. Stocktons and a few others do it but the closet is a guy in pa.( i think) and he only make a set or 2 every couples of months.

i would so rock some widened 16" steelies on the mk4. I always wanted a set for my old mk2, and I was thinking about diamond racing wheels. the mk2 forum on vortex has the most info on them. I decided to go with sportmax just because it was cheaper and a piece of mind with fitment, and all I wanted was dish.
I can't find the pic, but some company on the mk2 forums was talking about making widened snowflakes- 14x8 and that would be money on your shizz.:cool-up:

well i guess that must be why everyone on vortex is selling there diamond racing steelies and or a bunch of people purchasing them.. in my opinion if i bend a rim every 6 months thats 60 bucks i have to spend as to opposed 200 for examble for my expensive wheels to get fixed ill bite the bullet and get the diamond racing wheels

I dont know man, the roads are horrible down here and a dented up rim would leave me stranded, but then again the rims being 60-70 bucks you can always get a standered spare.
I'd like a set of 13x9 rims! go wide or go home!

diamond racing wheels are not hub centric, cannot be balanced on a balancer that holds them by the hub, and require a bolt or nut that has a 45* taper. i managed to find some but it was a 1" nut and i had to swap to studs. on my old bunny.
not ideal for daily driving.
there are places that will widen steelies, most just replace the barrels with wider ones.
i want to say these guys do it
