I'm sure yall get this alot, but i've searched everywhere and havent found a straight answer. On the 2.7T how many of you have seen or experienced flywheel chatter with a LWFW. I'm looking at the Fidanza flywheel. I know it effects the 1.8T but do not know about the 2.7t.

Quote (Evan@absolute): "I am slammed busy today but the short answer is there is no chatter. There is a noise under load at low rpms that it makes since it is not a dual mass flywheel. People get the two confused. It does not chatter on take off any more then the stock one. That all depends on the clutch. The rs4 should give you very little if any of that. If you are pulling from 2k or below in third gear you will here the transmission noise that internet people think is clutch chatter."
Thanks for the info.

so does it do it then (when evan said, low rpm under load) or is it during engagement?

I am saying there is no "clutch chatter" at all. The fact that you have removed a dual mass you now get the noise out of the trans that is the reason they use dual mass flywheels.
