List good bike trails within 50 miles of Wilmington

Been thinking that I'd like to spend more time in the Wilmington area this year once the warmer weather arrives. One or two day trips mostly on weekends. Prefer to ride on bike-only trails; the drivers around here don't know what to do w/ bikes on the road, they'll drive by you w/ 6" or 6 feet to spare as most of the roads don't have separate bike-only lanes. 10-20 miles trails, paved or not are fine, along the coast would be nice. I could just drive down there & randomly try places but if you've experience w/ good ones tell me about them. And yes I"ll also be googling bike trails in the area.

not much for trails down here

Both, good to mix it up. I've got a mountain & road bike. There are good trails around here, it's variety I seek.

I know River Road in Wilmington is good for road bikes. Has a dedicated Bike lane and traffic is few and far between. There's a local club that rides it pretty regularly.
