Find anyone in the 1.8t forum who is having any kind of drivability issue. Most everyone on vortex says change your green top and search before you do anything anyways. You pm them and say that you had similar problems and had really good luck with changing out your green top...and you just happen to have an extra one for a good deal...score.

they are found on pretty much all 00+ cars

the black tops suck to put it lightly...green tops are ok
