any pointers on replacing belt.

replacing the v belt on the audi a4 1.8t. its a 99. it has a v belt that goes from the water pump to the power steering cant figure out how the hell to slide the power steering to put the belt on. we've done everything and it wont budge.:confused:

i dont even remember if there is any adjustment on the ps pump. but you could loosen the 3 bolts on the waterpump pulley, the pulley is 2 pieces.

fixed thanx to vdubb...(b) thanx buddy!!!!!! We will post a thread on how to do it. I dont think there is a thread ANYWHERE on how to replace the v belt. so b. CV shaft today you down to help?:superkewl:
