This detail was over the course of 3 days as it has been hot and humid and was not in a big rush to get it completed. I still have some final touches left such as putting back on the fog light grills and getting putting some dressing on tires and such but I thought I would just do the write up and post up more pics later!

Put a coat of DP wheels glaze on the wheels

Polishing the car. I did the whole car with Menz 106FF as the paint was not in bad condition. No real swirl marks and the scratches that were in the paint could not be seen unless it was i bright sun and only the right light. I went over some areas with SIP such as around the driver door handle and some ares that had deeper scratches. I was not looking for 100% correction but more like 90% as it is a DD.

Driver side after polishing and IPA wipe down:

Then used the old style Sonus Blue pad to apply CG glaze. I have to say that this stuff is amazing, it gives the paint such great depth.

Put on a coat of WG DGPS 3.0 and let it cure for a hour before buffing:

After letting the sealant cure for 12 hrs i put on a coat of RBOE. I had a sample pot of it and wanted to try it out. I also put WG Fuzion on half the hood just to check out the durability of both. I could not tell the difference between the two looks wise, but then again I am the wrong person to find the difference. I dont know why but wax's look the same to me?!? Just see how they hold up as the weeks go by.

Thanks for the comments! I have some etching on the hood from acid rain, :( , So sometime when I get time I will have to do a light wetsanding which I dont want to as the hoods have thinner paint, around 90-95 microns. I may just leave it be as it is not too noticeable.

I do love TR as it has grown on me, when I was looking at cars I was not looking for red at all but this one just fell into my hands almost.

:superkewl::superkewl::superkewl::superkewl:...NIC E...Cops in the triad have radars for red cars in case you didnt know...lol...But they are attracted to cars that look fast...Overall nice job. How'd that buffer work for you?

Its the old work horse I am looking to upgrade to a Flex 3401 which has forced rotation to get some more power and correction power behind it on the hard clear.
