Looking over the factory service requirements, BEW TDIs have a 100k belt, but BRMs have 80k belts. I don't know WHY that is, but it would be prudent for all PD owners to change their belts before 95k miles to ensure good life.
Mine at 90k had a few numbers that were readable in the right light and noticeable banding, it might have made it to 100k but I'm glad we replaced it when we did.
