New Suspension, Steering Binding...

I put new struts/springs with new strut mounts in my 81 Rabbit last night. After i put it back on the ground, I noticed my steering was binding (I have no power steering of course). The steering wheel pretty much feels like it is locked up and the wheels don't turn at all.

I will not have a chance to get it back off of the ground for another day or so, so I figured I would get some input here before I even looked at anything.

Anybody have an idea as to what it could be??? I am sure it is something very obvious and stupid, but the less time I have to spend diagnosing, the more time I have to drive it.

Just make sure you got your upper mounts in correctly, hopefully it's not all bound up up there.

Also, I saw one Rabbit that had wrapped it's under dash wiring harness around the steering column and bound it up that way, it took me a few long hours to sort that out, and lots of solder.

The steering is all good, my problem looks like my ball joints are shot...:mad:
