For a K04 equipped 1.8t? He already has a J valve stock, and I don't see how an N75 for a K03 would help surging on a chipped K04.

the part #'s for a stock n75 on a 01 225tt is either 078 906 283 a or 037 906 283 b
no j's @ the end of either one of the part #'s...i cant remember right off hand what engine the j valve came on but its something really random..it can be found by searching the net
there is no such thing as "an n75 for a k03"

I have always been told the J is the valve used in the TT225.
From Tyrolsport's website:
"1.8t N75 valve (version J): This is the N75 valve from an Audi TT 225. The installation of this valve may cure surging issues and regulate boost pressures with possible boost level gains! More Power! A perfect balance of power delivery and increased boost levels! "
There is such thing as an N75 designed to be used with a k03, and I doubt it would do well on a K04.

So why would Audi dealerships in the United States stock a part for a car that was never imported????

Eh, you're right.... A is for the TT225. I have heard multiple sources claim that the J was stock on the TT225... wonder how that rumor got started. :gt-bb-chongin:
Even the O.P. thought that:
How much do you want for the H? I have an Audi TT and it is surging with the chip upgrade. If I remember reading correctly, the 255 TT comes with the J valve? If that is the case, I will be willing to sell mine.
To the O.P., I think you should look under your hood and find out what you have. If you don't have a J, I would start there. If that doesn't work, then try the H.

I've ran them all H,J,K and liked them in that order. Just based on the car designations that each valve oreiented from it's no question the rs2 (K) valve would be the best option to go with. I think it's probably suited best for the k04-2x series than any of the others.

Yeah just got home and realized the valve i have is a C... which sucks ass, i feel your pain.
I'm gonna throw it back on my car for shits and giggles, now that i have a different TIH and downpipe, see how it feels
If i like it, I will sell the J valve that I am using right now if you would like to try that
