If you want i'll take you for a ride:oddeye-hellyeah: I can show you ~440.
But as for the dyno lets find a day. You want to do some tuning or should we have a dyno day?

now I feel all rushed to get my leak fixed and ready to turn up the boost..

I just always get so lazy - maybe i can get some lift time for a spliff.. i should call my new buddy..

wait a second, this is that place I called before I decided to sit in traffic for fun going to greenboro ;)

GIAC software and garrett turbos were "sketchy" said dude on the tele.
I don't suppose if I gave you my ECU number, you could find out what file was most likely soldered in my ecu?

yeah, kinda vague..

What place, Absolute Automotive, Dyno in Durham, giac dealer?
I called, last week I think. About a 1.8 beetle w/ a k04 GIAC chip.

But yeah, I was supposed to call absolute back to tell them the ecu SN# - but since the whole garrett turbos and GIAC software being sketchy, it just led me belive it would prob be a hassle.

so I drove over to carr industries in greensboro and met Travis from apextunning - to find out, there was some miscommunication and the stage3 file I wanted for my 00 beetle didn't exist.

I was just thinking, wow what a small world. just as cool as having the only dyno in the area ;)

wow this is hard to understand. I think you are the guy that called me a while back. If you get me your ecu # then we can go from there. I never said the GIAC was sketchy I said whether or not there was a file for it was hard to say without the ecu #. GIAC has done GT28rs and GT2871 fies for a lot of the 02 up mk4 stuff now. They may have one for a NB but I will not know without ht ecu#. The last thing I want to do is waste both of our time if there isn't one for it.

cool deal - the file seems to be doing good so far w/ the new turbo elimin GTRS at 1bar.

but before I go and turn up the boost that much more I wanted to put bigger injectors in. The chip has been doing well up to this point, so i'm at the point thinking why not?!

BOSCH 0261206506

vw 06A 906 032 C

from what it sounds there aren't very many options for the 1.8 2000 NB, so i would think limiting the files wouldn't be to bad..

it was supposed to be for a k04

thanks

yeah - I didn't speak with you, it was with someone else, I can see how that could have been meshed up.

i'll have to review my posts a little more next time and try not to mesh up what i'm saying - don't need anything taken the wrong way here..

I don't see a file for a GT28 listed. I have emailed them.

huh? Did I just hear Ian say he has 350 to the wheels?:) Man, Id say he may have a bit more than that. I hope my boy puts down 375+

BTW, nobody here has 575 to the wheels but me! Im serious. I just counted in myhead ahow long it took me to get to liek 120ish and it was like 7 seconds or less. Id say thats ruoughly around 750 or 550 wheel or crank hp. Roughly.

Yes Im drinking again!:)

Shouldn't all the non red light districts in Amsterdam be known as the "green" light districts.:gt-bb-chongin:
