Thanks to Pete Rubio at Southern States VW of Durham our 2011 CC sport 2.0t 6spd arrived this morning. This will be the car for developing my tuning software(and a few hard bits;)) for the 08 up TSI 2.0t. But don't worry some springs, wheels and a few cosmetic pieces will be very early on in the project as well. Now for a few quick shots.......

there is no way a fwd 2.0t is ever going to be fast enough for me. The CC is a great car so far for what it is but 600hp awd it is not.

Chan does it come with the power cord and adapter for that one hose? I see it in the picture but I have tried to buy these used before but they leave the a/c adapter out.

I can include that adapter for an additional fee. Also note that this is from a Euro car so it uses that plug with the two things that are round and come out of a hexagon. But it's not 220. Also the A/C is real cold as well.

too early to tell;)

It got a 2 week or so reprieve from actual tuning while I wait for my new tuning tools to get shipped.

I hope to buy this car from you in about 2 years, cool? :)

you should matte black the grille and delete those oranges in the headlights in the meantime

Lower it. (can't believe I'm the first to get that in)

It needs it. I have to put it on the dyno a time or two first. If it is going to be a pain in the ass to strap down I will leave it stock height for a while.

I put the clear turns on today but as it turned out when I got asked "you need turn signals or reflectors?" I needed to answer "both" I now have a 1.5" long orange bit next to my sweet ass clear turn. Oh well tomorrow or Friday it will be fixed.

had to make cable to flash it out of the car to get around the newest VW "anti tuning" security.

cracked the ecu open to have a look.

well I have the baseline. So consistent it is amazing. These are the last 3 pulls I did today. Makes me laugh to look at all the stock 200+whp dynos. This is what 200hp looks like on an accurately calibrated Mustang dyno(I had a mk5 2.0t with turbo back exhaust that only made 179 on stock programming also). 169 corrected back to the crank looks like 200chp/169whp=1.185 correction. So we will go with that.

now as for tuning the ecu is so new I am still trying to get the communication worked out. The 2011 has a different processor then the 2010 back. I spent a lot of time poking and soldering on the ecu this week but to no avail. Then again after all my humping on it the ecu still worked when I put it back in today so I'll take that as a win for now ;)

Not quite. The ecu is booted and alive now that I sorted through the pins and made that jig to hold the pins. But VW has the bootmode locked on most 2011 so not flashing quite yet. I did get the original file read off it finally though so I am getting close. I had the same experience with a 2011 gti that I expected to be able to do because it had the older processor. It was locked down tight in bootmode also. But I do have my opening of the ecu and connections worked out really well now so that part is set up. Once this last step is done I will be set to tune any of the VW/Audi cars all the way to 2011. I think I can do 2010 now but 2009s for sure.
