my EPC light comes on and my code is 18047-Accelerator position sensor 1/2 (G79/G185):Implausible Signal P1639 - - - Interittent. if the light is on, the car bogs down and there is no power, but if i turn the car of and than back on, the car is normal again. right before the light comes on, the car usually would rev up to about 1500 and come back down, than there is EPC. I already cleaned my TB, and changed my green top. Help me please:dunceblock:

Possibly a bad MAF. I know that if the MAF is messed up it can cause problems with EPC/ASR.

i'll help him do some MAF logs tommorow and see what it does. :)

the epc is the drive by wire system. You may have a bad pedal sensor or a brake light switch.

we just replaced the brake light switch like 2-3 months ago

that's an easy fix if it is the brake light switch. the brake lights are working though. what about the high rev right before it throws the EPC code. could it be that my speed sensor is going out? abe set my idle at 800 when i first got the car because of my dogbone mounts, but when we checked it today, it was back to normal, not at 800.

Haha! I was thinking ESR or whatever that other acronym is for the traction crap. Must be the cough medicine I'm on :dunceblock:

then I would have to go back to pedal sensor or brake light switch.

Well concerning your Idle going back to normal idle, is because after the REVO demo goes out it goes back to normal settings and basically takes you back to everything stock. :)

OK, do you suggest that I change both or what should I do next? I was just driving back home and every thing is normal as it can be, there is no reving high and there is no EPC light. every thing is smooth. I also didnt drive the car hard at all.

since the break light swithc was changed recently i would start with the pedal sensor. :)
