'05 passat ESP light on

hey there !!!
my 05 tdi hase this ESP light on. Actually, when i start the engine, the light is not on, but as soon as i move the car, it will light on. I also have a code:
00778 - steering angle sensor (g85) 27-00 - implausible signal.
I have no idea what to do, where to look. I would apreciate any help.

how should i check this sensor? just replace it, or is there any other way to fix it?
