Yep, traded it in on a new 06 Mazdaspeed6. It had 10k miles on it. Would need the Revo reflashed as I just had it in for the airbag light and it must have been flashed back to stock. Candy white 6 speed 0 package. Talk to Alma Cunningham at 859-2000 if interested.

You know, I guess if you can afford to throw away a car that you've had like 6 months or so for something newer and supposedly faster and nicer (I would like to see your tuning options as compared to what APR/Revo and GIAC have our for the MKV with partial VWoA support) car then more power to you.

However, I don't understand trading it if you had a single airbag light. If it was lit for a solid 6 months I might understand better, wait no I wouldn't mine has been on for nearly 9 months now and I still don't care --- just means my car WON'T get totaled if I hit something (cause they won't deploy).,.. I hate them things anyway.

The only Japanese cars I would ever own, in order:

1. Nissan R33 GTR, only one easily found that has been crash tested in the USA, for a reasonable price. I still seriously consider finding one sometimes, I just find a hard time paying $30k for a car with 75k miles that is a 1995.:smack:

2. Toyota Supra TT, ummmmm nuff said. Why not? Yet again, $30-$35k for a 1998?
3. 3rd Gen RX-7, Cosmos 3-rotor engine swap! Why not? Cheap enough used, hard to find that engine in great shape or new.

I think I've had close to 40 cars since 1994. I've lost count. My wife hated that GTI, I bought it without discussion and got tired of feeling the non love. I got a smokin deal on the MS6 and would invite any of you to a gentleman's race if you like It doesn't have the roll on driving power like the Revo GTI did though. And my GTI got 27mpg.

06 GTI in candy white, 6 speed manual, around 10,600 miles. Two Castrol Syntec 0-30 euro oil changes, rotated tires twice. A3 intake pipe. I have the KandN filter and ECS clear turn signals for sale. Also have the stock exhaust resonator. Travis put the Revo on it, but I had it in for an ABS light and they must have cleared it. That car consistently got 27mpg.

I understand the VW love, I mean hey, it's a dubsite, but this thing ain't bad. Trying to decide if I want to use my Christmas money for performance mods or accessories. They gave me $18,500 for the GTI, which I thought was smoking. I bought it for $21000 +++ Carmax said $18000.

If you look at the front grill down it looks like a MkV GTi sorta with the way the front grill and fog lights are positioned with the way they used the black.
