Busted my passenger side axle tonight on the inner cv joint. At first we couldnt see it because of the lighting, but once I got enough light we could see the passenger side axle was wobbling back in forth when the car is put into gear. I'll be putting it up either tommorow or monday to take the axle off.

I looked at DSS axles tonight and the stage one is $699 for both axles, which is too much money for me right now. I'm probably going to go over to carquest and get an axle from them and just make sure it has lifttime warranty, but do you guys have any other reccomendations?

Thanks

i have broken 3 axel's now.... what a pain in the ass for sure, i went with the stage 2 axles from driveshaftshop.com (which are pricey) after the 3rd axle was snapped, and they have been great :oddeye-hellyeah: they also do a stage one axle which is around $350 or so.

$68 new, no core, advance auto. limited lifttime warrenty, covers defects, but doesnt cover if the axle breaks 3-5 years down the road from normal wear and tear. Asked him if I brought the axle back every month and he said I could keep doing that since an axle isnt supposed to break within a month (under normal circumstances which I'd never put these axles past :D )

Just have to wait a couple days. Probably going to just buy another passenger and driver side aswell and make a tool kit to be in the car to replace axles on the spot.
