Yeah I did! I can only get 13psi of boost at around 3200Rpm with the wastegate blocked off and the dump valve on the intake blocked off to. I think I should be getting more sooner but maybe I'm just used to my VNT on my mk4 ha

Stock is 9psi, which is what we're running. If you want more boost, you'll need a manual boost controller. But much more boost and you'll want an intercooler, if you didn't put one on (I don't remember from your build thread what all you've done). Do you have an EGT gauge?

I think he has the most manual boost controller made. The blockoff plates.

No I didn't put an intercooler on it. But I'm gonna put water/meth injection on it when I turn the fuel up after break in. I do have an EGT gauge my egts dont go over 1200

We're keeping boost levels stock until we figure out an intercooler solution. We kept the AC so it makes things a bit tricky. Still have a few other things to take care of before we go modding the car too, and just bought a house so big ticket things on the car will be on hold for a bit. We're running 9psi, 2.5" exhaust (downpipe and all), Giles IP and injectors. Does really, really well. The exhaust helped things out a lot too. If we push the car hard, we can get EGTs to 1200 or a bit more, but it rarely sees anything close to that. Its nice.

Can you hear your turbo good or is it loud with the 2.5 straight pipe? Cause I cant hear mine with my 2.5" pipe. When it was just the down pipe (in the video) it was loud as hell

We can hear it pretty good. We're not spooling as much, but we do here it whistle as it spools. Sound much improved after swapping out the exhaust from stock to the 2.5".
