A6 4.2 imobilizer wire.

Hey, i have a '00 A6, 4.3l. i took the dashboard off so the body can be repaired (was hit). when the body man put it back together, he couldn't find the imobilizer wire. and offcourse can't start the engine. can anyone help me somehow? by telling me the color of the wire, or where is the wire located at.
