installing euro rear bumper on JTi. doesnt seem to fit

does anyone know if there is any required cutting or notching to get one to slide on flush with the rear quarters?

I remember the mk3's had less rebar reinforcement in Europe. I don't know for sure if the mk4's are the same but I believe they have lower safety requirements for the bumpers so you probably have to trim it down.

yeah, the bumper itself is smaller, so you're probably going to have to trim something.

i just took the reinforcement out. i got tired of fighting with it. and it went on smootly.
