So the weld on my 3' dp broke at the flange and since bolting the stock dp back up and unhooking the battery to reset sometimes it bounces idle from 5 to 800 rpms whats that about? any advice? no check engine light or anything so no codes are thrown but maybe air/fuel?? well at anyrate i ordered a catback for it, will it reponsed powerwise as much as a dp? maybe a lil?

take it to a muffler shop and have it welded back
or a buddy w/ a welder would work as well :)
sure you put the o2 sensors in their correct places?

yea the o2s are in the right spot haha, i can weld i just dont want to waste time on it like that, plus it voids warranty, fail inspection, is way too loud for me, maybe ill weld it later but the cat back will do fine for now,

what catback did you get?
you wont see as much gain with that as you would with a DP. couldnt you just have the flange re-welded?

sorry about that, anyway naw i bought some catback off ebay, i think it was some kind of name brand, but it was for a golf, so i just said screw it and went to merican muffler and got a magna flow with a gli style tip it sounds great, then i bought a forged diverter valve to love it, next is front mount or wheels, and raise da boooost
