yea i have a b4 glx, a b3 glx, i used to have a b3 wagon 16v, i have parted out a few b3's, i grew up as a dasher being the family car, then we upgraded to a quantum gl5.

i also own a few mk2's, a couple mk3's, and have had my fair share of mk1's.

I'm in the (SLOW) process of rebuilding a super cheap B3 5speed wagon I got last year with good leather and a working sunroof. I rebuilt a block for it, bolted up a 1.8 16v head, and am working on installing cross drilled rotors/mintex pads, a techtonics catback, and neuspeed springs. It came with some enkei rs5's(i think) and a ton of new parts like clutch and fuel pumps. I've also got a glass roof for it and will eventually respray it cause its got a couple dents.
I've also owned and/or parted several b3's. My ex wife crashed a low mileage one I bought from Black VW for only $700 and I took literally everything off it (engine, trans, suspension f and r, exhaust, brakes, etc) into a high mileage wagon I got that was an automatic. Swapping the pedal cluster was the worst part but it was a great ride for the $ I had in it. Finally, I've done a couple auto trans swaps on B3's. It wasn't really worth my time because those auto tranmissions suck balls. I'll be sticking with 5speeds from now on assuming I do any more other than this car. Honestly, I want a B5 or newer next. My father has a nice B5 that I'll eventually get when he's tired of it.

My B3 is just sitting in parking lot of my apt complex. I now have a MK2 GTi 1.8l 8v. It is a lot more fun than the passat ever was! If anyone needs anything, dont hesitate!
