Electronic Music Festival in Chapel Hill this weekend!!!

I don't have time to write much about this right now, but basically there will be a shit ton of parties all weekend in Chapel Hill. Notable performers are Derrick May on Thursday night (Classic Techno), DJ ODI on Friday night (Drum & Bass), and Donald Glaude on Saturday night (House/Progressive)

I am hosting two events.. one on Saturday afternoon at Caffe Driade from noon - 5. This event is free and will feature deep house dj's from Winston Salem. The second event I am hosting is on Saturday night at Tallula's on Franklin Street. We are having 2 DJ's from DC, one From NY/FL, and one from CA. This event is $10 and will go from 10pm - 5am. Strictly House music all night long. :D

Festival Passes are $30 or so, and allow you to go to all and any events without paying the cover. Most other events range from $5 - $15 each if you don't have a festival pass.

I'll try and make it out to Caffe Driade... I've been wanting to check that place out anyway, sounds like it'll be pretty sweet!

Too bad finals are next week, it'd be nice for me to have a little extra time to sample some different music...

I wanted to try to get out there and I'm going to be in Raleigh this weekend but I'm going to be crazy busy unfortunately. I hope it goes well though...looks like an awesome event!

I will definately be out Friday night to catch ODI and my girls friend is opening for Donald Glaude so I guess I'll be at that night as well.

Try and come out for the FREE event on Saturday, the weather should be AWESOME. We will be set up behind the coffee shop, down some stairs, nestled nicely in a clearing in the woods. Music will be chill, but still danceable.
