If I'm not mistaken that's the greddy, no?

the best greddy copy in the world...and about $300 cheaper:eek:
we'll know the final verdict on monday as far as fitment, but everything looks to match up perfectly like greddys piping.

oh ok..cool..it was hard to tell by the pics..
i was trying to guess whether the in/out on the core were 2.5" or 2.75" and then judge the tubing size off that
you might pick up a few hundred more rpm's of lag from the bigger tubing
Yareka
July 1st, 2006, 11:27 PM
inlet/outlet on the core is 2.75 so it tapers down on both sides from there.
And I goofed...it is 2" piping all around except to 2.25 going to the tb.
What size did you run for your kit? Also check out this link if you are still looking at cores.

my piping is a short section of 2" out of the turbo then 2.5" all the rest of the way...in/out on the core is 2.5"
that looks like a decent deal..i would have either bought a precision or treadstone core but theres no way in hell 3.5" is fitting behind my bumper
and i already snagged a core ;)
Yareka
July 2nd, 2006, 08:35 PM
heard good things about the treadstones...I think this core will keep me happy for a while.
The plan is to intercept the ups guy tomorrow with my flanges, then I'm heading to the gso for the install. Travis will have his band saw and if that doesnt work, Abes bringing the AK.

Give me a ring if you decide to swing over...I'd like to grab a new o2 so I can get some good wideband readings. 247-6400. thanks man.

July 4th, 2006, 12:52 PM
yup...all sorted. Problem is that I cant stop blowing off charge hoses at 20psi. Blow two off while test driving around travs and blew another off on the way home. We also got abes fan in.
Didnt get home to 4:30am...:gt-ogb-spank:
Trav, Ian, Brad, Drew, and Abe...thanks for the help guys.

get some hump hoses
the movement of the motor vs. the rigidness of the ic tubing vs. boost sounds like it might not be the best combination
just dont order those humps from intakehoses.com :smack:

since you called me big boy...I dont see a problem getting over there. Actually, I'm heading to gso tomorrow evening so I could always stop by late tomorrow afternoon. Let me know man.
I need to throw in a fresh set of plugs and put in that new o2 sensor but Mastah Gappah Chilton could knock that out in no time before I head out.
