I Need Help!!!

I NEED HELP, i think my shift linkage is messed it wont go into first or second without rolling at like 20 or 30,sitting still when i try first it just goes into reverse I NEED HELP!!

sounds like you shifted too hard...

you have to finesse the mkiv shifters.... be smoothhhhh ;)

You weren't griding going into any gears prior to this, were you?

everytime I shift a little on the aggressive side, I have to adjust mine. It helps to have that special tool(bent nail) to align the shifter before you loosen up the linkages up front.

I have a bad tendancy to "flick" the stick into 3rd and 4th when driving. One day the white guide clip actually slid off the shifter and I had to put the gloves on on the side of the road to get that punk back on. I usually carry tools, but that day had to use a paperclip.
