Needed:thick wall tubing

I'm making a roll cage, well 2 exactly.
4 p/6 point for the Car and a better roll bar for the bronco.

Anyone know where I can get this? Or if there is some new tubing that is better? I am not sure what diameter I need yet- I need to look in the NHRA rulebook for the one for the car, I guess the same could be used for the truck.

I might need a bender too...hmmm


as I get more practice with this if someone wants a cage made it could happen.

your best to use .090 wall DOM tubing.
there is a place in durham that can get the stuff you need. im not sure the name anymore but i think its durham steel.
main hoop and bars to front you will want to use 1-3/4
and 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 for your door area. 1-1/2 for bars to rear shock tower area and you can use 1" for all other extra braces
you will need @ 150ft all together for each cage. this will give you extra just incase you mess one up.
they come in 20ft length
