That's was a fun run in, but right when I got onto 421 I picked up 4 bogeys.
one bike and 3 cruisers, had slowed way down at that point. :cool:

It was def a win for him. Be it the evo was'nt stock from what I could tell.

Definitely a cool run in, as they don't happen too often.

I think we had a quick jaunt from about 25 to 125 and I had a carlength or two put on me from 90-125 during that run.

I've only had one run-in with an evo. It was stock and I was still on the k03. Dead even up to 95.

lol ok but you wont be impressed..... basically stock has a base ECU flash from Dynoflash... Stock DP cat delete Stock mid pipe and muffler delete... suprising how quite it is;) drop in air filter boost set to 19psi to avoid redline taper... thats all.....

Cool, heres your chance to edumacate us on your dsm.
Your dp must not be a restriction like it is on our motors...thats one of the first things to change out after a chip. How much boost were you running stock? Any idea on whp out of the dynoflash and what you've done?

but i test drove an evo one time...it was a blast to drive...felt like a big gokart on steriods...it felt very light and was very responsive

stock boost is 19psi but tapers by redline... im guessing its probally around 290-300 as i run with cars @ this power level... unless i drive that daymn good lol.....

rock on...I'm sure we'll run into each other at a gtg at some point. From a fwd standpoint, I'm definitely jealous of the performance package that mitsu offers at that price point.

btw, travis has one of the faster, if not the fastest, stock turbo 1.8ts on here.

yeah i just really dont know if i ever care for that much power.... really i dont even care for much more than i have.. now its fun reliable and a blast to drive. It drives as good as the day i bought it uses no oil and has 60k miles... i couldnt be happier with it really....honestly @ 60k miles with an engine thats boosted to 19psi constantly i expected some oil use.....

:D i suspect your refering to crank walk.... evo's generation of the 4g63 tend not to suffer from this... i have heard of one instance actually...... and it actually seemed to be an install issue....
