Hey guys, I'm not sure who all on here is getting MOTUL from Evan, or anywhere for that matter, but this is a sworn testimony. I started using it only 2 oil changes ago and it is awesome. Not only does my motor run smoother, my gas milage has increased dramatically. I was a tech for a while with VW and I never believed oil could change milage this much. Before using it, I got about 300 miles before the light came on which in my GTI the light comes on at about 12 - 12.5 gallons. Now I get 350-370 miles before the light comes on. Not sure exactly why this makes a difference, but I know it does now. So if any of you aren't using it, you should, especially with the way gas prices are right now.

I'm glad you like it. You arre the third person that has told me of a 30+ miles per tank increase. I would have never believed it if Motul had told said it but I am now. I'm not someone that is trying to find ways to get better mpg but in this case I think it has to indicate less friction and other good things inside the motor so :oddeye-hellyeah:

I'm waiting for my next change to try out that motul oil flush. I've never seen evan get excited about anything, but he downright swears by that stuff.:upyeah:

Might have to give it a try as well. What weight are you using Matt?

Hey Rob, I'm using 5-40 that comes in a 5 litre jug. I think it is like 8100 or something like that. Ask Evan, he knows the kind I get. I'm not sure what is in it, but it is magical!

Since I've been using Mobil1 0W-40 for 60K I'm somewhat reluctant to switch to 5W-40. Probably just being stubborn.

In this climate I wouldn't be worried about the oil being 0 or 5W .It's too warm here to be an issue. I need to buy some oil for the rado at the dyno day.

Hey Rob, I switched from that and I actually had a great improvement. I was using Mobil 1.
