After I rerouted my n249 system, I ran a new house for the recirc on the diverter valve into a nipple on the bottom of the intake manifold. The weird thing is, I had an overly long hose on there for starters and everything ran fine, with a slightly quicker spool time than previously with the n249 still in

I shortened the hose because I didn't need the extra length, and now at the 5-15 psi range if i let off the gas the dv will flutter, the turbo won't spool as quickly in higher gears, and at full throttle it sounds like there is a leak somewhere.

Any ideas as to what could cause this?

it sounds like there is a leak somewhere.

I bet you answered your own question.

yeah but i cant figure out where though... all the connections between the dv and intake mani are tight

the only other thing i changed is i took out my bleed valve at the same time and barbed the wastegate hose back together...

the car idles fine too so it is probably a small leak, noticeable only when more pressure is going through the line

what dv?

diaphram or piston?

Perhaps as the hoses you used expand under boost a small leak becomes a big leak.

you could try logging block 115 to find out if you have a leak or not

leak has been solved, it was just a nip slip :yum:

On the other hand, it is still fluttering but not as badly and between a shorter psi range. It is enough to not even notice anymore.
