oil dump

I've got gallons and gallons of old motor oil I need to ditch - (i'm talking at least 15 gallons)

I don't feel like driving all the way to apex - isn't there a place in cary I can drop off my oil or dump it into?

just go to jiffy lube. theyll let you dump it off there if you ask nice. of course, theyll probably screw something up and blow up your car while youre there.

I work at the Advance Auto on W. Williams St. (hwy 55)....I usually keep our drum empty and we take used motor oil for free.

The Advanced Auto on Kildaire Farm Rd. b/w Cary P'way & Maynard takes used oil for free, I'd take 2-3 gallons at a time though spaced out over several weeks. You'll have to dispose of the containers elsewhere though.

I think it's the law that places that sell a certain amount of fresh oil must allow the return of used oil (for free). It was a big environmental thing because people would do oil changes at home but then not have anywhere to dispose of it, therefore just pooring it out on the ground... Of course, they only have to accept it there if you can prove you purchased it there.

Awesome , I can drop buy, dispose of the old oil, talk about the mustangs european replacement, and get a quote on some parts , if all goes well in the next few weeks.:upyeah:

had some guy with a nice R32 come in yesterday asking about oil capacity....thought it was someone from here but he was just a random person with a nice looking dub.
