Tonight was a pretty interesting night. Went out and took some pictures with Ryan (Passat) and Kyle (20th AE GTI) in the G-boro. Heres a pic from our shoot:

After a bit, we went for a bite at Wendy's and ran into Eric w/ the Mk2 Jetta. He and Jordan were accross the street w/ some folks including that guy we saw at Piedmont a while back w/ the white S4. Anyways, the guy says he wants to race me, and I told him I was afraid of cops on Battleground and he kept saying he wanted to. I'm not a fan of street racing at all, but after a bit of nagging I gave in. We did a rolling start at 20mph and by the top of 3rd I had about one and a half car lengths on him and we had reached the end of where we were racing too. However, when I let off the throttle, much to my dispeasure my super awesome JB Weld MAP gave up the ghost and blew off my intercooler piping. I limped back to the parking lot and tried to repair it, but I didn't have much in the way of tools and there was no room around my MAP to work. Jordan was kind enough to let me drive (at about 5 mph) to his house and use his tools to fix the car, and Eric was nice enough to help out w/ the work. We couldn't get to the MAP to rig up a temp fix, so we took off the bumper. Then we decided to take out this electric plug going into the washer fluid resevoir to try and get more room..... Bad idea. I thanked Jordan for letting me use his garage by spilling water all over the floor. :smack: Since it was rather useless at that point, we went ahead and removed the washer tank, giving me a ton more room to work with. We duct taped the MAP sensor on, and I made the 30 mile journey home no problem. Heres a pic of our duct tape mastery:

At the end of the night I had learned a few lessons:
1) JB Weld Sucks
2) I'm gonna have to get welds done before my car drives me insane
2) Duct Tape Really, Really Does Fix Anything
3) :ohyeah:1.8T NEVAR LOOZESSSS!!!!!:ohyeah:
